Work orders for a maintenance company
A fictional company in Dammam: about 30 staff, 18 of them technicians, with annual maintenance contracts for residential compounds, schools and clinics. Requests arrive by phone and WhatsApp, get handed out in three group chats, and are tracked in an Excel file.

The story
- “Requests get lost across our WhatsApp groups, and we can't tell who picked one up or when it was closed.”
- “We don't know where each technician is right now, so we miss contract response times and pay late penalties.”
- “The visit report is written on paper and retyped into Excel. When the client asks for the photos and signature, we can't find them.”

Tell me about one process
If a process in your company still runs on spreadsheets and group chats, tell me about it. I'll tell you honestly whether a custom system is worth it.
