Automated Amazon deals publishing to a Telegram channel
A system that finds Amazon products by category and keyword and posts them with affiliate links on a schedule, with a web dashboard.
The challenge
The client wanted a system that searches Amazon for products by category and keyword, then posts them with affiliate links to a Telegram channel on a schedule, with no manual work.
What I built
- Amazon search: through the official Product Advertising API (PA-API 5.0) with hand-written AWS signing, plus a fallback collector for when API keys aren't available.
- Filtering and rotation: by price range, discount and fast-shipping eligibility, rotating through categories and keywords.
- No reposts: the same product isn't posted again within a period the client sets, and the publishing queue can be reordered.
- Post templates: short or detailed, showing the price before and after the discount, the saving, the image and the link.
- Limits and alerts: respects Amazon and Telegram rate limits, and alerts the admin through an admin bot on any error.
- Dashboard: an Arabic dashboard for categories, keywords, schedule, templates, logs and statistics, with one-time-code login over Telegram and lockout after failed attempts.
Tech
The system is written in Python, with the dashboard on FastAPI, data in SQLite, scheduling with APScheduler and posting through python-telegram-bot.
Outcome
I delivered it with the source code in about ten working days. The screenshots use demo data.
